Soy Candles FAQ’s Answered
At Annie’s Country Attic we make our candles from natural soy wax with cotton wicks and the finest quality fragrances. Soy wax is soot-free, burns cooler and cleaner than paraffin wax. It does not give off oily soot and you won’t have the grimy residue on your walls or furniture. Our wax is made from pure, 100% natural botanical oils with a soybean base. They are biodegradable and clean up with soap and water. Soy wax is made from a renewable resource, natural soybeans.

Purchasing soy candles is an excellent way to support
American farmers and their families.
My Candles are only poured after you order, you may see variances in colors. Soy can sometimes burn differently than regular wax. Keep your wick trimmed ¼ of an inch to avoid smoking. Keep candles out of drafty areas, as draft can cause the candle to burn unevenly. Burn your candle no longer than 3-4 hours. If your wick “Mushrooms” or looks like a piece of popped popcorn, this is because of the higher amounts of scent in my candles. Blow the candle out, trim the wick and relight it. This is a normal thing.
To avoid a smoking wick after you blow the candle out, just dip the wick into the melted wax pool, and pull it back out, the wick will not smoke.
Soy candles can sometimes tend to stick to the edges of the jar, if this happens you can take a spoon and mush it down while the soy is still warm, it will smooth all out the next time you burn the candle. This is due to the natural nature of the wax and in no way effects the way your candle will burn
Store Candles in a Cool, Dry Place, away from direct sunlight for best results.
